How it scores

Three ways to read the same picks. Placement is the system of record: add up each pick's actual stage finish, lowest total leads. Rank is the running second board: each stage the eight picks are ranked 1 to 8 by finish (the pool's best gets 1), and you carry the sum, lowest leads. Fantasy Points is the optional lens: a top-15 scale worth 25 for a win down to 1 for 15th, highest total leads. Placement and Rank decide the pool all season; Fantasy Points is there to explore, on the See Fantasy Points toggle on any card.

How much is first pick worth, by stage type?

First-pick order rotates one seat forward each stage from the group's order. A void stage takes no draft, so it does not advance the rotation. It is a what-if lens, not a score.

How this works

A first pick is worth far more on a summit finish, where one rider is the obvious grab, than on a bunch sprint, where the next pick is just as good. How much more is a judgment call, and there is no objectively correct weight for it. So rather than me picking the numbers and passing them off as fact, the sliders hand you the dial. Each slider is one stage type, and the number is how big an edge it is to pick first on that kind of day. When you drag one, the bars above recompute - they show each player's total first-pick edge across the season under your assumptions.
